Bob Hite, vice president of businessd affairs and CFO for Golden Gate said the university started discussing a plan to sellits 33,000-square-footg property at Mission and First streets to a highrised developer about a year ago. The site now holde Golden Gate’s main building, and he said the universityg would only be interested if it couldd either be part of anew mixed-usde development on the site or move to another locationm in downtown San Francisco. Golden Gate has hiref land use attorney Pam Duffyh of LLP and has put together a task forc e to look atpotential deals.
