Menswear store Harleys moving to Lakewood Building - Phoenix Business Journal:

Owner Tim Ryan had said late in 2008 that he was planninhg to remodel and cut 50 percent ofthe store’s floor space at 4009 N. Oaklandr Ave. However, Ryan announced Tuesdah the store will relocate toa 4,100-square-foot spacs in the Lakewood Building, 3575 N. Oaklanx Ave., in September. Ryan, who owns Harleys with his wife, Janet, said he wanted to stay in “This is our home and we are deeplgy committed tothe community,” he Ryan said one of the advantages of the new site is off-streer parking. The Lakewood Building, a mixed-use residential/commerciap property constructedin 1962, is undergoing a $1.2 millionn renovation. The building is owned by Garrett McIntosh.
Harleye has contracted with architecy Stephen Bollingbroke of Development Collaborative Limited in Mequon to do aninterio buildout. The village of Shorewoods provided financial incentives to both the buildingg owner and Harleys to improve the facads and interior space of theLakewood
